What You’ll Do

PIR is looking for experienced sourcing experts who want to transfer their knowledge into a management consulting context. As a specialist you will be expected to bring your knowledge of sourcing to create tailor made solutions for our clients and lead and coach teams to deliver outstanding results in challenging environments.

The range of assignments vary from sourcing strategy through execution and transformation of high-profile deals and partnerships, outsourcing, complex negotiations, cost optimization programs, operating model strategy and digital transformation of sourcing, procurement and vendor management functions.

Management consultants will be primarily expected to work delivering projects for PIR’s clients. In client engagements, you will take on the role of Project Manager assisting the client and creating true business value. You will have the opportunity to work alongside senior and more experienced colleagues, who will guide and mentor you on assignments.

What You’ll Bring

• Higher academic degree (probably Engineering, Business, Economics or Law)
• 3 – 10 years sourcing experience, preferably in the IT sourcing area.
• You have worked for a top-class sourcing organization. In addition, any consulting experience would be seen as a bonus
• You know how to explain and visualize complex concepts in a simple way. You are analytical, business minded, contractually literate, and a good negotiator and stakeholder manager.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate in international environments are essential.
